University of Windsor’s Ed Lumley Centre for Engineering

The CEI provides students with a facility within which to learn and to see engineering in action. Coined as a “living building”, it is wired for student learning, bringing engineering to life through real-time monitoring of the expansive green roof, cross-atrium bridges and HVAC performance.

The donor recognition design was that of B&H Architects. Kevin Stelzer of B&H became aware of our donor recognition work at the new St. Catharines General Hospital and contacted our firm to review their design package. With excellent coordination amongst all parties, most notably Kevin Stelzer, and both Fedela Faulkner and Jane Boyd from the University, a successful installation met on budget and time line.
